I am a musician and teacher, and my focus is on promoting creative expression at all ages. I enjoy sharing the love of music and art and am dedicated to seeing everyone succeed. As a conservatory-trained piano and violin player, I have over 20 years of experience planning and preparing music lessons in relation to individual students’ needs and the ABRSM examination program. Ensuring knowledge and awareness of examination requirements; assessing and evaluating students’ capabilities.

Beltrán Cubel Gajas

A sensitive and versatile musician that loves to play, improvise and teach music. I am a viola player, classical music trained but open to play and teach other styles of music such as flamenco, jazz, latin, reggae, bossa nova…I am also a passionate of chamber music and ensemble playing including the classical string formations or any other non typical ensembles. My goal is to share my love to music to the students and also give them tools to express better with their body and instrument. I studied a master degree of Viola performance in Sibelius Academy with Teemu Kupiainen and Currently I’m based in Helsinki where I combine freelancing with developing my professional career with my string quartet “Arima Quartet”.

Kärt Tambet

Kärt Tambet is an Estonian violinist and singer whose main focus in music is directed to
musical diversity and transcultural collaboration. She has previously studied Estonian
traditional music and now getting her degree in Global Music at the Sibelius Academy.
Although, Kärt has dove into some musical traditions more than others (Estonian, Swedish,
Bulgarian, Brazilian), her biggest interest and aim is to find the ways to use her instrument in
different cultural contexts and styles.

ABOUT Mária Vojtovičová
Maria is young and passionate musician with experience both in performance and teaching based in Helsinki, Finland. Currently she is studying at Metropolia AMK towards degree in Music Pedagogy (graduating in June 2017). The main genre of her repertoire is classical music but she is big enthusiast for oriental and contemporary music and for the improvisation in particular.
