Brazilian Percussionist, graduated in Popular Music at UNICAMP and specialized in Bodhrán at Limerick University. Founding member of Oran (Irish music band), Gustavo has performed with many musicians both in Brazil and abroad, including Scottish Pipe Band and Bagad.

The most charismatic voice of Galicia! A self-taught artist, travelled extensively through Galician villages giving him a way of singing and understanding of the culture that goes far beyond the music. Performed in Calgary Folk Music Festival (Canada), the Helsinki Festival (Finland), Etnosur (Jaén, Spain) etc.
Albuns: Árnica Pura (produced by Eliseo Parra), Rústica (with Cristina Pato) and Lobos. Collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma’s Sing mehome and Kepa Junkera’s Galiza.

“Percussion Traditional Manual”, “On the Double” and the solo album “Portugal-Velho” edited in 2016. Rui composes regularly for Portuguese percussion groups and played and recorded with: Big Fat Mamma, Red House Blues Band, At Freddy’s House, Budda Power Blues, Galandum Galundaina, Michael Lauren, Mafalda Arnauth, Carlão, Sandy Kilpatrick, Peyo Peev, Adolfo Luxúria Canibal, and worked in theater with António Fonseca, António Durães, Miso Ensemble.

Since childhood studied percussion. Graduated from Beijing MIDI percussion music department. Member of the Sheperd Band. Teaching of Chinese percussion.

Samuel Takyi

Samuel Takyi

From Cape Coast, Ghana, living in Copenhagen. Started playing music at the age of 6. 1988: cultural instructor in the Ghana Education Service.

Founded the “Obrempon Folklorics together with Kofi Badu and later worked at Agoro-Ciltad Project in Cape Coast as a Performance and Outreach coordinator after graduating from University of Education, Winneba in 1997. Playing with Afriko Hi-life band and gives workshops in various centers and institutions in Copenhagen and Spain.
