Welcome to The World Music School AIR!
The World Music School AIR is the first-ever permanent school for AIR GUITAR and AIR MUSIC! Whether you’re a seasoned air shredder or a curious beginner, our doors are open to everyone who wants to unleash their inner rock star.
The school had its official opening on the 21st of August 2024, while serving as one of the key stops during the Airientation day of the Air Guitar World Championships.

Airientation – Buy your ticket now!
Airientation (Air Guitar -themed word play of the word “orientation”) is a happy reunion of the Air Guitar family, the best chance to meet old and new air guitar community members and the best way to start the Air Guitar World Championships week! Newbies, random visitors and local Oulu-people are all welcome.
This year the Airientation participants get to spend a fun-filled day of competitions and great company at the World Music School Air!
Join air guitarists from all around the world in Airlympics – compete in many games that Finland is known for, such as boot tossing, hobby horse riding, and more.
You also have a once in a lifetime chance of participating in a world record attempt in air guitar! Can we break the world record for most people doing air guitar windmills while listening to Rock Lobster?
Inside the Wolrd Music School Air you get to see the foundation of the first permanent Air Guitar Museum in the world. We will also have a peace flag workshop.
In case of bad weather the activities will be inside and there’s a possibility to watch air guitar movies! So come rain or shine, we’ll have a rocking time!
Sign up by paying the participation fee of 15 € (pay here). We will be listing the participants based on the participation fee’s paid, and will send everyone more information closer to the day.
