The proposed program is entitled Lönnrot 2.0 : Let us celebrate and document the multi-cultural dances and music traditions which makes today’s Finland

At Lönnrot 2.0 events the current socio-cultural landscape of today’s Finland is collected!
World Music School Helsinki ry teaches music as a mother language by mixing experts with beginners from the very first day through monthly folk dances events, combining two local minorities in each event. The events are designed for anyone interested in music or dancing. Everybody and all kind of instruments can participate, previous experience is not required. Just bring your instrument, voice and body!

The events for the Lönnrot 2.0, with live music and dance:

  • 23.03 18:00-21:00,Bokvillan, Helsinki – India and Perù
  • 27.05 12:45 and 19:00, World Village Festival – Africa and Latin America
  • 13.07 20:00, Kaustinen Festival – Galicia and Bulgaria
  • 17.09 17:00-20:00, Bokvillan, Helsinki – Senegal and Ukrainian Klezmer
  • 26.11 17:00-20:00, Bokvillan, Helsinki – Burkina Faso and Nigeria
